Midnight Sea Sands.

7.8

Here is yesterdays story of my life, (a Friday.) My day began...with waking up and getting ready for my 14th day at Kokufu Junior High School. I had to sit through 8 hours of confusion, thoughts, and desperation of wanting the clock to read 16:00. In the end of the school day I thought to myself that it was all worth waiting through because of two days that were named Saturday and Sunday. I took a shower and folded the dry laundry that was hanging on the porch before leaving my grandmother's apartment. I left after 19:00pm to go over to my aunt & uncle's where my cousin is. When I was on my way over, Chika was driving on her way to my grandma's and so all i had to do was hop in. Once the car had the passengers that it had needed we drove to the mall to meet up with her friend who i have known since two summers ago. I brought some money along with me. So many things were on sale at the mall and so of course I ended spending up a big majority of the money. I got a dress, a shirt, black bobby pins for school (can not wear colored ones in japan), really cheap heart earrings for $3, a flower printed case for my glasses, and a few postcards to send back to home in America for the fam. Usually I have been keeping both of my eyes out for unusual items that I most likely would not be able to buy back in Colorado or a few other of the 49 states. Before the mall closed we went to Mister Donuts and purchased three. We left (Justco) at 10 pm and decided to go by the sea. When we got there many people were having fun with little fireworks going on and there were tons of boat lights out in the water. Beyond the sand was gorgeous with the boat lights. The lights were like stars in the sky except for the all of the stars were pulled by Earths gravity into the depth of the oceans. It was so dark out that they were bulging into my eyes, i had noticed them instantly. I think that the individuals in their boats were out fishing for squid. Below are some photographs. A lot of the photographs that we'd taken with my camera ended up blurry. I'm just happy that some of the photo's are normal looking and visible though which is better than no visible ones. Now that I think about it.. I had dropped my camera in the sand, but I don't think that was why a few photos turned out unclear. Please take a look at them if you wish -Emily :]

My camera didn't want to cooperate with me at the moment. Here are the boat lights through the lens of my camera, the view through my eyes were a very different look at them though.
The Happy Clan. (We used the 10 second timer to take this photograph.) I'm so sorry it turned it out blurry... :'[.
I wrote my name in the sand with my foot and you can see the 'E' better than the 'M', but the 'i-l-y' part seems to be missing.
Salt watered feet
6 feet, 3 people, 1 picture memory.
All is in 'peace' by the sea.
Forever cousins.
